Hajj to Kaaba and scientific proof from planets galaxies and atoms: a miracle of Kaaba

We are getting closer and closer to the holy days of Hajj and any devout Muslim knows that the city of Mecca and the Kaaba are full of signs, blessings and miracles from Allah, the Lord and Creator of the worlds, universe and all that is within them;

signs that have amazed not only numerous non-believers and guided them to Truth of Islam but also Muslims themselves. As we approach these blessed days, it is befitting that we bring to mind some of these great miracles, open for all mankind to see: to willing accept or reject.

The word Hajj itself comes from the room Arabic word of Hujja; meaning evidence of Truth. So the direct translation of “Pilgrimage” alone does not really render to the complete meaning of the word Hajj. What it actually means is “Pilgrimage that which shows the Truth,” “Pilgrimage that which manifests the Truth,” “Pilgrimage that proves the Truth.”

The yearly ritual of Hajj proves that Islam and the Quran is the truth through many different angles and avenues, whether we look at it from a Biblical view (Psalms 84:5-6), social, geographical, rational or scientific view.

With the above in mind, let us contemplate on that a few scientific and natural proofs of Hajj, Tawaf (Circumambulation of Kabba) and praying of billions of Muslims around the world.

Scientific proof of Kaaba (and Hajj): planets, stars, atoms and electrons

Everything in the universe is in constant motion, there is not a single thing that does not vibrate, even though it might look stationary to our eyes, it’s very toms and electrons are constantly moving and vibrating while the electrons circulate the center of the atom – the nucleus; so do the starts and the planets. When we move away from the earth and start to observe the macro universe around we see that moons revolve around their planets, planets revolve around themselves and around their stars. Stars revolve around themselves and their galaxies and the galaxies also revolve around themselves and are constantly moving.

Now we compare that to the ritual of Hajj, it becomes evident that Muslims are actually replicating the universe around them, even though mostly may not directly know this, they have been doing this from the time of Syedna Muhammad (SWAS) and long before that our forefather Syedna Ibrahim (AS) did also.

Lets look deeper into this amazing sign, every planet in our solar system, almost all moons, stars and galaxies also revolve from left to right, in an anti-clockwise motion. Well, so do Muslims from left to right when they are doing Tawaf: performing their seven circles around the Kaaba.

When we look at Micro world of Atoms and electrons, we see extreme similarity between the universe into the space and galaxies.

It is interesting that this very fact is stated within the Quran itself, as Allah Subhan Tallah says the following in the 3rd chapter about the clear proofs of Hajj, Kaaba, and the City of Mekka (Bekka):

95. Say: “(Allah) speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans.”

96. The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:

97. In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures. (Quran Surah Ali-Imran, 3:95-97)

Similarity of Muslims in prayer to empty spaces of atoms and galaxies

As we move away from the center of Galaxies outward, and from the nucleus of an Atom outward there are massive empty spaces around the planets and stars. This is also the case in the micro universe of atoms and electrons. To bring that to comparison it’s as if we hold a small needle into a massive room. The head of the needle would be nucleus of the atom and the electrons that revolve around it are much smaller by comparison, like dust particles or smaller. Looking at deep space consider the fact that the closet star to our sun is nearly 5 light years away from us, that is nearly 40 trillion kilometers.

Now look at Hajj and prayer, close to Kaaba there are millions of people prayer packed altogether, one breath, one people… black, white, red and yellow glued together in love prayer by the power of Tauheed (believe in oneness of God). As we move away from Mecca, to far parts of the earth, Muslims are still praying facing the Kaaba, but there are massive distances between them. Millions of people maybe praying at the exact times while they are thousands of kilometers away from each other, but at the same time there are united in their prayer and submission to Allah, they have become one in front of their Creator – as He has willed.

When we look at Micro world of Atoms and electrons, when we look at macro world of planets and galaxies and when we look at Hajj we see one design, one plan, one structure, one purpose and of course one designer, Allah Subhan wa Taala.
